HAPPY PROPAGANDA Story: Happy Lun, State TV, and Vesna
You are the new Broadcast Supervisor for State Channel One in Vesna, a fictional communist state. Your first assignment is to manage five live broadcasts before the Foundation Day Parade while rookie presenter Happy Lun faces the audience in real time.
A five-day state broadcast assignment
The official setup makes the deadline concrete: five days, five broadcasts, and a national celebration approaching. Every morning supplies a newspaper, inbox messages and in-world websites. Those sources shape the featured topic and the comments that appear during the show.
The player is not the presenter. As Broadcast Supervisor, you sit behind the interface and decide what the public is allowed to say. That distance is the game’s central dramatic device: each moderation action affects the institution, the audience and the person on screen differently.
Who is Happy Lun?

Happy Lun is the rookie presenter assigned to the broadcast. The official presenter record shown on Steam identifies her real name as Rene Lebedeva and her age as 18. Conversations before and after the show give the player a relationship with the person affected by the moderation choices.
Her Stability is one of the visible pressures described by the store. Allowing audience insults through can reduce public anger while hurting her. This makes “free speech” and “protect the presenter” competing actions rather than a simple good-versus-evil switch.
Themes and interpretation
The game’s official language supports themes of censorship, institutional obedience, public frustration and emotional labor. Reading it as a satire of moderation and propaganda is reasonable, but specific political allegories are interpretation unless the developer states them.
Vesna is fictional. This guide therefore avoids presenting its agencies, history or ideology as a direct account of a real country. It also avoids explaining ending meaning before exact routes and scenes can be checked.
